Pakistan beat India by 5 Wicket and became 2nd to Team to get 2 valuable point.
Pakistan needed 26 runs in Last two overs. For saving 19th over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar went for bowling but unfortunately he was not able to stop the storm of Asif Ali and Namaz. He gave 19 Runs in 19th over. Pakistan won the match in the last over with having one ball left.
Having seen the current situation, Current run rate doesn't matter for playing Final. If any team should want to reach in top two, 4 Valuable points are needed anyhow, for it, two matches have to be won by the respective teams.
Talking about the two matches, Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan and Pakistan to India. Sri Lanka is now on the second position because of having good Net Run Rate than Pakistan.
Pakistan's Net Run Rate after the winning of first match with India is 0.126 with having two valuable points. In addition, Sri Lanka also has two points but the Net Run Rate is quite good than Pakistan that is 0.589 making Sri Lanka at first position.
After the lose of first match, India's point is Zero with having -0.126 Net Run Rate. Afganistan is at last having -0.589 with Zero point.
How India will qualify!
There are four Teams qualified for super 4, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan. Each team will play 3 match with eachother. If any team will loose two or more than two then automatically they will be out form this tournament.
Pakistan and Srilanka have won one Match each and have to win one more match to be qualified for top two or can say for playing Final.
After, India and Afghanistan both have same situation for qualifying. Each team has to win two matches for finishing up at top two or can say that all matches left will have to be won by each team.
There is nothing about Net Run Rate. This Asia Cup has been designed in such a way that team will qualify according to their Points not just because of Net Run Rate because Two Team's points can't be same in this Asia Cup.
The Final Match will be played on 11 September 2022, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
