PM Modi's statement has come in the meeting with CMs.
Narendra Modi on Tuesday organized a meeting with Chief Ministers of different states on regarding different issues like daily rising in COVID-19 cases and over fuel prices.

PM said, for decreasing the prices of diesel and petrol, Central Government had reduced in Excercise duty in last year's November. He urged to Chief Ministers of some states like West Bengal, Maharashtra, Andra Pradesh, Telangana to reduce the taxes imposed by state government. This is so far PM blamed State Government that they didn't give benifit to their people.
Russia-Ukrain Invasion
PM also talked about ongoing Russia-Ukrain war. How the supply chain has been affected by this war and how difficulties are increasing day by day, so the interaction between State and Central Government should be stronger than as usual that's how we can help more our people, PM said.
